Menlo School seeks a full-time Upper School History teacher for the 2018-2019 school year to teach American History (AP or non-AP) to sophomores and either Modern World History to freshmen or electives to upperclassmen. In addition to teaching four sections and usually two preps, full-time faculty members also oversee a 10-student advocacy group, and participate actively in other aspects of Menlo’s student life program.

An advanced degree in teaching, history or a related academic discipline is preferred. Candidates should be comfortable designing and executing curriculum as part of a teaching team and embrace the use of instructional technology.
