The Clinician Educator will work as a primary care clinician, same day or urgent care, in the Faculty Practice 7 half days a week. They will also participate in clinical based teaching as well as potentially in an inpatient general medicine teaching attending role. This position will include both a continuity ambulatory practice and coverage clinic and is designed to provide increased after-hours appointment access for practice\u2019s patients as well as increase our overall patient access. Faculty in the Division of General Internal Medicine & Geriatrics participate actively in teaching medical students, residents, fellows, and each other. Opportunities for teaching abound and participation is encouraged and valued. The faculty member will be expected to participate in continuing education, professional and faculty development and scholarship, as directed by his or her department.
