The Food Science & Nutrition program at Central Washington University (Ellensburg, WA) is seeking to fill the position of Assistant/Associate Professor. This is a full-time (9 month) tenure-track position to begin September 2018. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in nutrition and related disciplines and mentor undergraduate and graduate students in research. The program offers an ACEND-accredited Didactic Program in Dietetics and an ACEND-accredited Dietetic Internship with approximately 150 undergraduate majors, 9 dietetic interns, and 10 graduate students. The program is housed within the Department of Health Sciences which also houses programs in public health, exercise science, and paramedicine. Minimum qualifications include PhD in a relevant discipline (ABDs will be considered), minimum of 1 year teaching experience in nutrition or related fields, evidence or potential of the ability to be an excellent teacher at the undergraduate level, experience and/or evidence of the ability to conduct independent research, and commitment to diversity and inclusivity through demonstrated experience working with diverse populations
