Advancement Associate to the College of Engineering, Director of Alumni Relations must be detail-oriented, have customer-service skills, and be discrete as the position involves planning and executing special events, working with alumni stewardship and donor-related information. The Associate assumes other administrative responsibilities as needed to support the Alumni Relations activities of the College of Engineering.
- Experience providing administrative support in an academic or professional office environment. - Experience with bookkeeping. - Proficient utilizing various software applications such as Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. - Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. - Ability to multi-task, work independently, and pay close attention to detail in a fast paced deadline oriented team environment.
- Experience such as event planning, alumni, and/or development activities. - Blackbaud alumni/development software or similar relational database experience. - Degree, coursework or experience working at an institution of higher learning.
