MSK is seeking a Sr. Systems Analyst to join our Informatics team. In this role, the Sr. Systems Analyst will support the implementation and ongoing operation of clinical systems used by the Division of Health Informatics to enable EHR to EHR data exchange between MSK and external providers including MSK Cancer Care Alliance members. Your work will primarily focus on, but not limited to, MSK's Health Information Exchange application, Intersystems Healthshare, Allscripts SCM native clinical data exchange and workflow integration capabilities, and external public HIE-s that MSK belongs to.
You will also:
Lead interdepartmental teams in the implementation of the HIE system enhancements, changes and fixes, including documentation of functional design specifications, system configuration and testing
Collaborate with both internal and external partner organizations clinical/operational leaders in establishing goals and standards for all clinical systems
Apply insights and a variety of analytical techniques to conceive workflow improvements and develop effective solutions to operational issues
Provide programming and analysis functions to assist in the development and implementation of new systems, the revision of existing systems and to support special projects
Direct the preparation and design of utilization, productivity, and other ad hoc reports/dashboards to meet internal and external reporting needs
Capable of building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions
A good decision-maker, with proven success at making timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward
Able to work effectively in an environment notable for complex, sometimes contradictory information
Consistently achieving results, even under tough circumstances

Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare and/or Information Systems (or equivalent experience); Master's Degree preferred
2-4 years experience performing clinical system implementations with a focus on interoperability work. Interoperability standards and Health Information Exchange applications knowledge strongly preferred
Experience in a complex multi-departmental healthcare environment
1 year in a managerial capacity
Experience in developing and using testing plans
