The first year of the Fellowship will be spent at VCU where Fellows will have the opportunity to take courses in statistics, research design, epidemiology, pharmacoeconomics and pharmacy benefit management / managed care as needed to fill gaps in their prior training. The majority of Fellow’s time in the first year will be spent participating in research projects with VCU faculty. Fellows will spend the second year of the program at Indivior where they will learn more about applying the principles of PEOR to the development and marketing of pharmaceutical products. The bulk of the second year will involve participation in research projects at Indivior. The Fellow will be expected to work with faculty and preceptors at both locations throughout the duration of the Fellowship.
Fellows will be supervised and mentored by VCU School of Pharmacy faculty while at the university and by research scientists in Health Economics & Outcomes Research at Indivior.
