Seeking Internal Medicine physicians with experience in outpatient settings to join several practices throughout the beautiful Boise, ID metro area! A hybrid model of outpatient and inpatient hospitalist work may also be considered. The position offers numerous opportunities including supervision of one or more nurse practitioners, provision of house calls, collaboration with a clinic-based pharmacist and social worker, and participation in educating other health care professionals and patients in the community. Providers will also experience flexible scheduling to allow sufficient time to provide high-quality care for complex patients as well as contractual incentives that reward quality of care and patient outcomes.
Providers share equally in outpatient phone call (with supportive call triage service) with other eligible members of the Saint Alphonsus Internal Medicine Department. Enjoy work/life balance as this position offers a traditional clinic work week, Monday through Friday. The affiliated hospital, Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center (SARMC), operates a 24-7 adult medicine hospitalist service. The adult medicine hospitalists are the primary admitting service for the vast majority of primary care providers in the Saint Alphonsus network.
