Looking for a true Alaskan adventure? The Prince of Wales (POW) island is the 3rd largest island in the United States, hosting 12 communities (including Craig) which are surrounded by the Tongass National Forest, Native Islands, and State lands. The island is 140 miles long, 45 miles wide, with an area of 2,577 square miles. You can only access POW by float plane or Ferry.
