The Verisign Compensation team is responsible for all elements of compensation for its near 1,000 employees, including strategy and design of new programs and administration of current programs. The Senior Compensation Analyst will work with the team to contribute to the organization's ability to attract, retain and motivate the talent needed for Verisign's current and future success.
Administers base pay strategies, policies and programs. This includes, but is no limited to, conducting job evaluations, market pricing, managing the annual salary surveys, annual salary planning and salary structure review. Provides recommendations and support to the design process as needed. Also reviews and finalizes job descriptions including the FLSA evaluations. Responsible for audits and job structure management within HRIS system.
Responsible for consolidation of workforce reporting and analytics along with the design and maintenance of HR Dashboards to highlight trends and enable workforce decisions. Establishes and maintains knowledge of the business and internal team processes and initiatives to provide context for data gathering, reporting and recommending solutions.
Develops strong partnerships with the HR Business Partners, recruiting and business leaders in the organization in order to identify and solve compensation related issues and provide consulting expertise. May act as a lead on compensation related projects.
Conducts research, analyzes data and identifies trends in compensation and continually reviews current practices and policies to ensure that best practices are being utilized.
Assists in developing and delivering training and programs and presentations for educating HR Business Partners and managers about compensation-related topics and initiatives.
Administers annual, long-term and recognition incentive programs including communication and calculation of awards.
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Statistics or related field
Five or more years of progressive experience in compensation
Three or more years’ experience using ERP software (Oracle, PeopleSoft, etc.)
Proficient in MS Office with a strong understanding of Excel including formulas, charts, graphs, pivot tables and other advanced capabilities.
Skilled at accessing and managing data from various salary surveys
Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy is essential
Able to work with highly confidential data and maintain confidentiality at all times
Excellent time management skills to be able to handle multiple projects with overlapping time frames and cope with shifting priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to manage tasks with attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills
