As a member of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and College of Human Ecology Business Service Center team, complete all transaction activities such as purchasing, procurement card processing, travel reimbursements and disbursement vouchers for identified units. Act as an interface between central University office and College units. Work directly with units to resolve any questions or issues. Act as a back-up to other Business Service Representatives as necessary.
Formal training beyond high school of 6-12 months, with 1-2 years relevant financial/accounting experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have demonstrated experience in providing excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate with a broad range of people. Attention to detail and superb organizational skills are critical. Able to work quickly, effectively under pressure, use judgment in accomplishing tasks that are urgent or of a sensitive or confidential nature; balance conflicting priorities and make decisions from a range of choices. Experience with computer applications such as MS Excel, MS Word, e-mail and calendaring system. Must be comfortable working in an environment where change in process/procedures is the norm.
Associates degree (or equivalent experience).
