The Office Assistant will provide administrative and clerical assistance to OR Materials Office. He/ She will facilitate the efficient procurement and delivery of supplies and equipment in support of patient care within perioperative service.

Answer assigned telephones lines clearly and distinctly
Input and updates data into spreadsheets and databases as required.
Assist in the preparation, processing, and maintenance of departmental records and reports.
Perform various clerical duties to contribute to the smooth operations of the department.
Assist the Materials Coordinator with supply procurement activities.
Maintain and track all documents that leave Materials Office, which includes vendor requests to Procurement.
Assist with the review of daily purchase transmissions for accuracy and transmittal of orders to appropriate Supplier.
Assist with retrieving order confirmations from vendors and Corporate Procurement. (email or fax)
Manage vendor set up process in Smart Stream & Coupa, which includes getting W9s and vendor questionnaires from Vendors and transferring it to Corporate Procurement.
Assist the Materials Coordinator with Maintains daily and monthly reports. (Req's, Open PO, Closed PO, Capital Contracts, etc.)
Assist with the reconciliation of supply charges and facilitate submission of charge ticket to Patient Accounts for overall charge capture process.

High School Diploma / GED with 2-4 years clerical experience
