Reporting to the Director of Clinical Optimization Services, provide project management specific to patient access. Projects may include but are not limited to: development of more efficient processes, quality, continuum of care, capacity throughout, and other projects to support the organizational mission and vision. The Project Manager will help design and lead access initiatives, work to improve patient experience initiatives, and help create exam room utilization grids for ambulatory care sites. This position will map current state and future state processes using value streams and other related tools, assist operational leadership with methods of patient access improvement, and help implement innovative processes that directly improve access and patient experience. This position will assess the scope of a project and identify resources and staff required to complete the project while developing, monitoring and reporting reasonable timeframes for completion.

Preferred Education, Experience and Skills: Project Management or Lean Six Sigma certification preferred. Working knowledge of EPIC, MS Access, MS Visio and MS Project; familiarity with Oracle, Workday and other Yale University systems; work experience in the healthcare, consulting, change management or project management fields.
Required Licenses Or Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration or related field and a minimum of five years of work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
