The ITAM Program Assistant works under direction of the ITAM Program Manager to assist in the day-to-day operations of the - Information Technology & Administrative Management programs; MS-ITAM and FlexIT. Provide information, interpretation of policies and activities, and represent the programs to faculty, potential students, current students and/or members of the public. Attend student recruiting events throughout the Pacific Northwest, representing the ITAM programs.
Program Outreach: - Work with Program Manager and Faculty Coordinators to research recruiting fairs, career fairs, table events and presentations at other institutions, and register for these events. - Arrange for on campus program outreach such as table events and information sessions. Represent program at the events. - Attend marketing and recruiting events, representing the ITAM department programs; to include career fairs at other colleges/universities, corporate partnerships, and other general events such as Bite of the Burg.
Program Assistance: - Serve as primary contact with students, parents, faculty and staff for the MS-ITAM and FlexIT programs, providing information regarding program offerings, admissions information, and degree completion requirements. Answer email and phone inquiries from students and the general public. - Keeps program calendars; schedule events and meetings. - Establish and maintain records, files and statistical information using complex functions in word, spreadsheets, database software and SharePoint. - Attend staff, department, and program specific meetings. Record and maintain meeting minutes from program specific meetings.
Student Support: - Run various queries in MyCWU to generate reports related to enrollment, recruiting, and retention. - Update information and post announcements in the Canvas Information Centers related to ITAM programs. Add and remove students as needed to Information Centers. - Update student program status in MyCWU.

Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule
Salary: $2313/month with periodic increases up to $2984/month
Schedule/Appointment: Monday - Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm (1 hour lunch) / PSE Bargaining Unit 4
Working Conditions: Work is performed in an indoor office setting with frequent in-person interactions. It is essential to be able to remain at a desk/computer work station for prolonged periods of time, perform extensive data entry and other computer-related tasks and create/maintain filing systems for departmental records. Some evening or weekend work and/or occasional travel may be required.
