Uses professional financial services concepts. Applies organization policies and procedures to resolve a variety of moderately complicated issues. Works on financial services problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Analysts in the unit are responsible for managing the receipt and reconciliation of financial aid funds received from external agencies including state, federal and private agencies and for ensuring accurate and timely delivery of funds to eligible students. Funds and student award data must be reconciled in multiple databases including the campus financial and student systems as well as in federal and state databases. The incumbent has primary responsibility for reconciling these transactions, as well as financial activity related to outside agency loans and scholarship check handling.

Operating needs of the department during peak periods may require a varied work schedule which can include a.m./p.m. and weekends.

Working knowledge of financial processes, policies and procedures.
