The Sanders-Brown Center on Aging seeks a Laboratory Technician Senior. The ideal candidate has a BS degree and at least 1 year experience in a research laboratory.
Need strong background knowledge in general laboratory duties (e.g.; buffer preparation, inventories, ordering, mouse colony maintenance, animal handling) and laboratory safety maintenance.
The candidate will assist with animal models and capillary isolation experiments. In addition, the candidate will have important managerial duties and will coordinate daily laboratory activities for a smooth and successful flow of experiments.
The person that fills this position will be critical for the successful completion of the proposed work funded by the NIH. The candidate will be part of a motivated research team, receive comprehensive mentoring and is expected to be committed, enthusiastic, and have a strong work ethic.
BS in life sciences with minimum of 1 year work experience in a research laboratory.
