The Department of Materials Science & Engineering at Missouri University of Science & Technology is seeking candidates for a non tenure-track teaching position at the Assistant/Associate Teaching Professor level who will help to maintain the highest possible pedagogical standards for the undergraduate Ceramic Engineering degree program within the department. In addition to assigned teaching duties, this position involves maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies each semester to ensure laboratories function appropriately. Candidates should, at a minimum, have an advanced engineering degree with extensive experience in ceramic processing as well as laboratory management. The appointment is anticipated to begin in Fall 2018.
The successful candidate is expected to coordinate and participate in outreach programs that are an integral part of the department and the university's recruitment activities.
