PVA architects use their expertise to:
• Advocate for the best healthcare environments for veterans • Improve accessibility in the built environment for people with disabilities • Provide technical assistance and education to the public • Help manage our Washington, DC headquarters building
Requirements: • Must have a professional architectural license. • Minimum 8 years solid architectural experience • Thorough knowledge of accessibility codes and statutes • Healthcare experience a plus but not required • Excellent oral and written communication skills required

The Paralyzed Veterans of America, a congressionally chartered veterans service organization founded in 1946, has developed a unique expertise on a wide variety of issues involving the special needs of our members—veterans of the armed forces who have experienced spinal cord injury or dysfunction.
