The RN in Urology is a member of the multidisciplinary team in a high volume clinic.
The primary job functions for this position will be triaging phone calls, refilling prescriptions, and completion of forms (FMLA or insurance, etc). Provide pre-operative and post operative teaching.
Will also be responsible for patient care and cross coverage including, but not limited to: Room patients, obtain vitals and document health information in the AEHR. Set up and assist providers with procedures. Sterilization of instruments/equipment, stock rooms, and precertification. Completion of task lists in a timely manner. All other duties as assigned.
