UK HealthCare (UKHC) Information Technology (IT) is seeking an experienced IT professional for a Program Manager to lead the enterprise surgical and anesthesia implementation, in addition to spearheading collaboration between UKHC IT and enterprise ambulatory and ancillary departments. The role requires frequent interaction, collaboration, planning, and cooperation with senior level UKHC leadership and stakeholders required to develop and deliver projects that meet Enterprise Business Objectives. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills, persuasion and influencing skills, and the ability to lead large multi-disciplinary teams through significant amount of varied work assignments.
UKHC is a comprehensive healthcare system consisting of the medical, nursing, health sciences, public health, dental, and pharmacy patient care activities of the University of Kentucky in Lexington, KY, and in several off-site locations. UKHC is expanding through the construction of a new properties and potential future acquisitions.

The successful candidate will possess deep knowledge of surgical services operations and will have more than 10 years of experience implementing clinical systems, including more than three years(s) leading surgical and anesthesia management implementations, in medium to large hospital and/or academic medical centers. Additionally, the preferred candidate will possess seven (7) or more years as a registered nurse, preferably in the surgical services.

Seven (7) or more years as a registered nurse, preferably in the surgical services. PMP certification is preferred. Management or Leadership experience in a Healthcare organization is preferred.
