Assists students in achieving their educational goals; assists students with course selection and program planning; maintains an effective informational network with instructional divisions. Participate in group advising sessions, evaluate financial aid audits, and participate in college initiatives promoting growth in student enrollment, engagement, retention and graduation rates. May assist students one on one, in groups, or online.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (specify total credit hours earned) and over three (3) years of relevant full-time experience.
(Equivalent = Minimum of 90 credit hours and over five (5) years of relevant full time experience.)
Master’s degree. Experience working in a higher education setting, preferrably in an advising capacity, ability to communicate and interact with a diverse student population and an understanding/passion for community college students. Strong computer and orgainizational skills. Bi-lingual.
