This position will manage the development and implementation of recruitment plans and alumni activities for the School of Public Health in coordination with the Director of Communications, graduate program faculty and program administrators.Liaises with individual departments to align activities and resources. Establishes working partnerships with campus and off-campus community members to meet enrollment goals and strategic objectives.Manages programming for recruitment and alumni events and outreach activities. Integrates diversity and inclusion strategies to create recruitment pipeline and diversify applicant and admission pools. Travels to represent School in recruitment and admissions activities, fairs and networking opportunities
Required: Bachelorâ™s degree with focus in business or communications, plus at least five yearsâ™ experience or equivalent combination of education/experience.
Experience in higher education preferred
Experience in event coordination and academic programming preferred
Extensive, related analytical and administrative experience in an executive-level office
Demonstrated computer proficiency and continued interest in enhancing skills in: Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Publisher; scheduling software (Google preferred); Adobe Professional and other database systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for identifying needs, conducting research and developing innovative proposals, solutions and programs.
Strong project-management and office management skills to facilitate timely and professional deliverables.
Written communication and editing skills for preparing correspondence, documents, reports, utilizing correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
Excellent interpersonal skills for effectively dealing with a broad range of individuals at various levels within an organization.
Ability to react quickly and shift priorities when needed.
Administrative expertise with abilities to set priorities, organize and coordinate on office operation, anticipate needs, work under the pressure of deadlines and exercise good judgment, particularly with sensitive or confidential matters
Strong self-motivation skills for independently establishing effective working relationships with various organizations and students, alumni, faculty and staff at all levels of the organization and demonstrated ability to work as a member and leader of a team
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, survey (Qualtrics, i.e.) and marketing automation (MailChimp, i.e.) systems
Ability to create a professional, mature and dignified environment suitable for the School.
