Detailed Job Description
Responsible to all customers and co-workers to provide excellent service in a friendly, sincere and courteous manner. Must maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
Communicate effectively with staff, student employees, management team members and the general public
Physically receive all food and non-food items for Brick City Café, Ritz Sports Zone and RIT Catering
Use proper storage and rotating techniques for all items received
Maintain all storage areas including but not limited to: storerooms, coolers, freezers hallways and receiving dock areas.
Perform inventory duties as required by manager
Maintain gas level in all RIT catering vehicles. Pickup and deliver to other units as needed. Perform will call pick-ups from vendors as required by manager
Ensure accuracy of received goods on invoice and deliver invoices to the correct parties on a daily basis.
Carry out special assignments as requested
Report to work on time, adhere to break policy, wear proper uniform and hair restraint.

High school diploma/GED Ability to lift 80 lbs ServSafe Certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months
PLEASE NOTE: The individual hired for this position will be required to have a pre-employment Motor Vehicle check, and the Motor Vehicle Report must clear RIT's Safe Driving Policy (please refer to page 4)
