We are seeking an exceptional scholar whose research and teaching contribute to Positive Developmental Psychology. The Division of Behavioral and Organizational Sciences (DBOS) at Claremont Graduate University has graduate programs in Positive Developmental, Social, Positive Organizational, and Cognitive Psychology, as well as in Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, and Evaluation and Applied Research Methods. The candidate's research and teaching should contribute to positive developmental psychology, and ideally relate to one or more of the other graduate programs as well. We have a particular interest in candidates who study the interaction between optimal human development and contexts, including schools, communities, families, cultures, etc. This position is subject to the approval by the Board of Trustees.
This is a tenured graduate faculty position at the Associate or Full Professor level. The successful candidate will be expected to teach graduate students in our M.A. and Ph.D. programs, and supervise graduate student research. Candidates should have completed the Ph.D., demonstrate a strong record of research publications, have a history or potential for extramural funding, and possess outstanding teaching and mentoring skills.
