The Call Center Rep is highly skilled and an experienced Customer Service Representative who is responsible for answering incoming calls from customers while ensuring a high level of customer service and maximizing productivity.Primary Responsibilities:Respond to complex customer calls Provide excellent customer service Resolve customer service inquiries which could include: Benefit and eligibility informationBilling and payment issuesCustomer material requestsPhysician assignmentsAuthorization for treatmentExplanation of benefits (EOB) Constantly meet established productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards
Required Qualifications:1+ years experienced in the following areas:Medical Claims, Benefits, and/or Billing knowledge and experience Call Center experience with high volume of callsCustomer service experience analyzing and solving customer problemsAvailable to work 40 hours per week anytime within the operating hours of the site Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications Preferred Qualifications:An education level of at least a high school diploma or GED or equivalent working experience Bilingual - Spanish, Farsi, Vietnamese, Korean is a plusAbility to demonstrate empathy and compassionAbility to navigate a computer while on the phone Ability to retain informationAbility to multi-task, this includes ability to understand multiple products and multiple levels of benefits within each product Ability to remain focused and productive each day though tasks may be repetitive Ability to work independently and utilize intuitive reasoningAbility to listen using a headset, speak frequently, sit for extended periods of time, use hands / fingers across keyboard or mouse and/or handling other objects Ability to work productively in a service center environment with moderate noise level due to Representatives talking, computers, printers, and floor activity What's the first thing that happens when one of the most successful physician groups in Orange County comes together with a global leader in health care?
