MSK is seeking a Sr. Systems Analyst to join our amazing team. In this role, the Sr. Systems Analyst maintains and supports the ongoing operation and implementation of applications and data analyses used by the departments of Facilities and Design & Construction. The Sr. Systems Analyst leads inter-departmental teams in the implementation of system enhancements, changes and fixes, including documentation of functional design specifications, system configuration and testing.
You will also:
Configure system settings per vendor specifications to meet the needs of users
Build and test data extracts from MSK systems.
Maintain and update system master file(s) and tables.
Troubleshoot any system-related problems encountered by user including hardware, software, and networking issues.
Manage operational system workgroups at varying stages of the development and implementation process.
Perform in-depth analysis and documentation of data and work flows, data collection, report details, and other technical issues associated with the Information Systems and its new modules.
Work with users to define changes needed to tailor the system to MSKCC, including anticipating future system needs.
Serve as subject matter expert for healthcare systems operational and reporting databases.
Define data specifications with vendor(s) and institutional database group to support existing and implement new reporting databases
Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare and/or Information Sciences (or equivalent experience)
2-4 years experience in a complex, multi-departmental healthcare environment
1 year in a managerial capacity, preferably performing systems implementations
Good knowledge of SQL and ability to generate reports
High level of technological adaptability
Experience with INFOR EAM preferable
