Reporting to the Clinical Manager, the Clinical Administrative Supervisor (CAS) will direct administrative actions within the Department of Urology that support that department's clinical operations. The department has seen substantial growth over the past few years and this trend is expected to continue. The CAS will oversee the work of and manage the current staff of Clinical Receptionists. Success will be a critical factor in facilitating the access of patients into the practice. This is directly correlated to the success of the department.

Required Skill/ability 1: Proven ability to manage, train, and supervise the day-to-day activities of clinical administrative staff. Thorough working knowledge of patient scheduling, for either a clinic and/or operations. Ability to assure proper pre-op administrative actions including pre-authorizations, testing, etc.
Required Skill/ability 2: Ability to assess and resolve or escalate problems arising within the clinical administrative unit.
Required Skill/ability 3: Ability to develop policies and procedures to improve department function.
Required Skill/ability 4: Ability to assist in long-range planning for department needs, including budgeting.
Required Skill/ability 5: Ability to identified areas of concern regarding work flow and able to ensure that it is organized and staffed for quality efficient completion.
Preferred Education, Experience and Skills: 1. Bachelor's Degree and 5-7 years of experience in progressively responsible management situations of an administrative and/or supervisory capacity or an equivalent combination of experience and education. 2. Experience in senior level academic administration or comparable executive setting. 3. Experience in a high volume call center.
Required Licenses Or Certifications:
Bachelor's Degree in related field and three years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
