Pacific University invites applications for a full-time faculty position to start August 2018 in their School of Dental Hygiene Studies. Responsibilities include teaching didactic, laboratory and clinical dental hygiene courses; student advising; scholarly activity; university and community service; and professional association activities. Salary and academic rank are commensurate with qualifications.
Required qualifications include graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program and licensed or eligible for dental hygiene licensure in Oregon. Preferred qualifications include master’s degree in dental hygiene or related field; teaching experience in dental hygiene or higher education; current clinical dental hygiene skills; clinical experience with local anesthesia, nitrous oxide-oxygen sedation, restorative procedures; and experience working with patients who have limited access to dental care.
