Posting Summary: The Office of University Advancement is currently seeking a Development Associate.
The Development Associate provides high level administrative support to development officers focused on fundraising strategies for the Center for Politics and the Contemplative Sciences Center.
The Development Associate coordinates administrative functions such as interacting with donors and professional fundraisers, scheduling, booking travel, stewardship assistance, managing donor records, reporting, and basic administrative support. Additionally, he/she may assist in special projects as needed.
The ideal candidate will have considerable administrative experience; comprehensive knowledge of office procedures and practices; the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with high-level donors, senior University administration, faculty and staff with an understanding of protocol and confidentiality; the ability to prioritize complex projects as necessary; the ability to coordinate meetings, prepare briefing documents, and ability to work with complex databases. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products, including Outlook, Excel, and Word is required. Previous experience in Access, PowerPoint, MapPoint, and Advance Web is preferred.
Required Minimum Level of Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
