Position Description We are currently seeking APAC Lead for FATCA and CRS to join our team. The role is to support Fulfillment Servicing and Operations on Tax compliance regulations like FATCA/CRS and Other Projects. Functions managed have regulatory driven deadlines and are directed by internal bank policy and multiple regulatory requirements. This role offers a high level of visibility, and you'll work in very close conjunction with a number of other internal Stakeholders in APAC region and multiple business leaders to provide seamless delivery and support to a variety of clients and other stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
Support client remediation activities for FATCA and CRS Regulations.
Oversees daily activities ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards and adherence to procedures and regulatory requirement
Liaise with Change Management Lead, providing regular updates on progress, issues, risks etc.
Assist Product partners to ensure clients are correctly aligned to the region that owns the relationship.
Provide guidance to team to ensure they clearly understand what needs to be collected from clients.
Track and monitor metrics and provide status/management reports.
Coordinate communication to clients and employees. Develops and implements new processes/procedures to improve operating efficiency and conduct training events as necessary.
Identifies, analyzes and resolves complex problems related to product lines or functions
Conduct in-region status meetings with key stakeholders to provide regular updates on progress, any road blocks impeding progress etc.
Participate in regional focus group to work through exception processes related to client requests.
Maintains the culture of compliance and supports the identification, escalation and timely mitigation of compliance risks.
Applies knowledge and expertise to influence business managers and peers to ensure enforcement of compliance programs, balancing operational strategy within area of responsibility.
May lead small internal projects or be involved in a variety of larger LOB projects.
Demonstrated experience with continuous improvement and process efficiency methodologies
Knowledge of both FATCA and CRS Tax Regulations
Ability to be self-directed and flexible
Good team player, enthusiastic, and committed
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, navigate change, and prioritize daily
Attention to detail is critical
Proven ability to create and deliver business results
Knowledge of cash and Treasury management Banking products
Strong presentations, communication, time management, problem solving, interpersonal and team work skills.
Solid experience in project management. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
