The Staff IT Auditor position is the entry level position within Internal Audit Department. The position is responsible for working with team of internal audit staff in performing audits and reviews throughout the corporation. The job provides lots of challenges and involves travel (primarily local) to banking and non-banking locations on a routine basis.
The Staff IT Auditor position is responsible for performing internal audits and reviews at the direction of the IT Audit Manager in a team environment. The position maintains independence and participates in testing effectiveness of FFIEC compliance and ITGCs including change management, logical access and IT operations. Makes internal audit recommendations and performs validation to ensure implementation of the recommendations meets the audit requirements.
Strong communication skills both written and verbal are required. Ability to analyze and interpret various financial reports and documents is required.
Strong interpersonal, negotiation and writing skills are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Applications is required. Data analytics knowledge is preferred.
Under graduate or graduate degree with emphasis in Computer Science, MIS/Accounting and/or Finance is required. Certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CRISC, CPA and CIA or pursuing such certifications preferred. Prior banking knowledge as an intern is also preferred.
