As member of our network contracting team, you'll help develop and support Provider Networks and guide unit cost management activities through financial and network pricing modeling, analysis and reporting. Primary ResponsibilitiesManage unit cost budgets, target setting, performance reporting and associated financial modelsPredict emerging customer needs and develop innovative solutions to meet themHelp develop geographically competitive, broad access, stable networks that achieve objectives for unit cost performance and trend managementEvaluate and negotiate contracts in compliance with company templates, reimbursement structure standards, and other key process controlsEnsure that network composition includes an appropriate distribution of provider specialtiesGet ready for a high impact role. You'll be tasked with working in conjunction with our national clinics and hospitals to manage, collect and analyze provider data, updating and loading provider data and resolving any escalated issues with the clients.
Required Qualifications:Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience 3+ years of experience in a network management-related role, such as contracting or provider services In-depth knowledge of Medicare reimbursement methodologies, i.e. Resource Based Relative Value System (RBRVS) 2+ years of experience in fee schedule development and methodologies 2+ years of experience or knowledge of financial models and analysis in negotiating rates with providers At least an intermediate level of knowledge of claims processing systems and guidelines Preferred Qualifications:Experience with utilizing/knowledge of actuarial modelsExperience in performing network adequacy analysis Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to speak clearly and concisely, conveying complex or technical information in a manner that others can understand, as well as ability to understand and interpret complex information form others Strong interpersonal skills, including establishing rapport and working well with others Intermediate level of experience with Microsoft products Strong customer service skillsCreating and fine tuning provider networks helps improve access to health care for millions.
