This organization will serve as a 'Center of Excellence' for various data analytic groups and teams within the Optum organization. We are looking for someone who is adept at working with business leaders in a partnership-liaison capacity while also having strengths in process and operating disciplines. This person will also lead matrix teams and efforts across resource groups. There will be a high level of collaboration between IT, the Business groups and Human Capital. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated and self-directed person who can step into this role and define problems and provide solutions for a multitude of complex business challenges. This role is highly visible with work being shared at the C level and with VP Audiences. Primary Responsibilities: Support the analysis of overall performance of the Optum Enterprise Analytics organization using financial and operational data Support the development and execution of initiatives to improve organizational performance, business engagement and talent engagement Matrix oversight of teams and resources Facilitate OEA teams to engage with Optum businesses to plan and pursue strategic analytic roadmaps Work with Optum partners across marketing, communications and human capital to build the OEA organization and support teams Support senior leadership dialogue to manage the OEA by developing analyses and background materials Provide thoughtful analysis and improvement recommendations to select core operational capabilities; lead the implementation and change management activities to support their adoption Support facilitation of an Analytics Council to advise on analytics-related capital investments Support the facilitation of ongoing partnership with Optum Technology and Optum Operations leadership to co-pursue strategic objectives Support development of a global analytics team with thoughtful and consistent engagement of counterparts across representative teams
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree 5+ years of experience in a business process solutions position or project/program manager role where solving problems was a key element of success. 4+ years of experience working in a liaison role between various business segments in a newly forming organization where change and transformation took priority. 3+ years of creating high level documents, output and Visio or PowerPoint output and presentations for a VP and C level audience 2+ years of experience in health care management Experience in supporting the facilitation of senior leadership-driven initiatives Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams Experience working with little direction or guidance Must be able to work in our Eden Prairie, MN office location on a full time basisPreferred Qualifications: Management consulting experience Experience leading large-scale change MBA or similar master's degree desiredCareers with Optum.
