UW Medicine Strategic Planning and Clinical Integration has an outstanding opportunity for a Service Line Administration, UW Medicine Sports, Spine and Orthopedic Health (SSOH). The individual will be responsible for the successful development, growth and strategic integration of the Sports, Spine and Orthopedic Services across UW Medicine. The SSOH service line is comprised of three distinct but integrated clinical service lines: Musculoskeletal Medicine, Orthopedic Surgery, and Spine Surgery.
Strategic planning, program development, and marketing coordination along with fostering collaboration across multiple hospitals and departments to assure optimal access and service for patients and referring providers. This work will include distinct but integrated comprehensive planning for each sub-service line as well as the overarching service line.
Participate in and support the development and implementation of approved programmatic strategies consistent with the UW Medicine Strategic Plan to provide access and service to patients, increase market share, meet community needs, achieve quality, safety and operating plan goals, and create a sustainable business model. Collaborate with operational leaders across all UW Medicine practice sites to ensure high quality and efficient patient care and service.
Program development, business plan coordination, and oversight working with appropriate UW Medicine departments. Monitor all metrics and prepares reports for leadership team and medical staff on all aspects of the three sub service lines that encompass the larger SSOH service line.
Provide leadership for strategic program planning and implementation of the approved UW Medicine Strategic Plan related to SSOH Service and the UW Medicine Patients Are First goals in these areas. Completes key liaison activities with UW Medicine entities and affiliated parties. Complete new program development/expansion plans and coordinates marketing and physician outreach in messaging campaigns related to SSOH Services working with Strategic Marketing & Communications and Strategic Outreach Departments.
Reporting administratively to the Director of Strategic Service Line Planning with accountability to the Executive Directors of all UW Medicine entities and the Medical Director(s) of SSOH and the Chairs of Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine, Neurosurgery and Rehabilitation Medicine for ensuring that all sites meet the standards of UW Medicine and the physicians practicing at all sites; and to each of the UW Medicine entities for achieving strategic goals.
Collaborate with Acute Care Administrators at HMC, NWH, UWMC and VMC to ensure optimal clinical operations.
Master's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or other health-related field AND at least six to eight years of successful leadership in complex hospital, clinic, or health system management with increasing levels of responsibility. Prefer experience in ambulatory network/providers.

Experience with sports medicine, spine and orthopedic services preferred. Experience with healthcare systems preferred.
