Posting Summary: The Department of Pediatrics is seeking a Medical and Continuing Education Coordinator. The position provides direction, leadership and day-to-day management of educational and departmental activities to provide operational oversight of fellowship programs, and faculty Continuing Medical Education and Promotion and Tenure. The incumbent is responsible for creating, maintaining, and communicating complex clinical rotation and on-call schedules for fellows. They will also monitor compliance of relevant policies, procedures, and standards, and coordinate program evaluations, which include oversight of accreditation, documentation, evaluations, and verification of fellow portfolios. In addition, this person will play an integral role is managing the department's website and marketing activities, and other duties as assigned.
Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of two years of experience providing administrative support and coordination. Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint) software is required. Candidates must have the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously; interact with diverse populations at multiple levels at the University and outside the University; be self-motivated and able to work independently; and have strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Experience working as a medical education coordinator and experience with ERAS (Electronic Residency Application Service) and OASIS preferred. Experience working with New Innovations is strongly preferred.
