Specific responsibilities will require the planning, preparing and presenting of course material relevant to the dental assisting curriculum. This includes didactic, laboratory and clinical instructions. This position will require a close working relationship with the dental assisting program coordinator, to assure correlation between curriculum and clinical courses. This person will report to the Program Coordinator and Dean of Allied Health and Natural Sciences.
Must have earned at least a baccalaureate degree. Must be a Dental Assisting “Certified Dental Assistant” (CDA) and have 5 years of related full-time work experience
Prefer 2-3 years of full-time teaching; have a baccalaureate degree in subject field; have Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certificate in the following: restorative, periodontics, prosthodontics and orthodontics procedures.
