As a Senior Consultant within our organization you will have the opportunity to perform the following types of activities:Provide leadership to and is accountable for the performance and direction through multiple layers of management and senior level professional staff Work most often impacts a large business unit, or multiple markets/sites Develop and execute strategies for a function or discipline that span a large business unit or multiple markets/sites Directs others to resolve business problems that affect multiple functions or disciplines Product, service or process decisions are most likely to impact multiple functions and/or customer accounts (internal or external)You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities:Provide support and guidance on clinical quality operations, quality improvement initiatives and quality management programs Serve as a subject matter expert for HEDIS, CAHPS and Medicare Star Ratings Provide project management support for consulting engagements Provide consulting support for client engagements Assist in the development of written proposals and power point decks to support business development efforts Support root cause analysis and develop targeted interventions designed to improve clinical quality outcomes Assist with the development and execution of strategic plans to support targeted quality improvement interventions for specific HEDIS measures Support the development, launch and execution of new consulting offerings and technical tools managed by the clinical quality consulting practice group Support business development/sales efforts by serving as a HEDIS SME as part of client sales presentations and/or developing slide decks and written content to support RFP responses and client proposals We'll be counting on you to bring your expertise and strong consultative skills every day as you manage client expectations and timelines, re-engineer strategic business processes and identify opportunities for client account growth.
Required Qualifications:5+ years of experience in health plan quality operations 3+ years of HEDIS management experience 3+ years of Medicare Star Rating experience Strong project management skills Ability to travel up to 80% Medium to Advanced skills with Access, PowerPoint, and ExcelPreferred Qualifications:SQL experience SAS experienceYou know you can handle more challenge.
