The Director of Programs plans, develops, coordinates, implements, and assess A Safe Haven’s programs. This role oversees program requirements, administers program budget and policies regarding participant involvement. This key leadership role provides subject matter expertise and direction to Clinical and Program staff. The incumbent will also be responsible for managing program regulations and requirement to ensure compliance and quality of services.
Advocate for policy and program changes in order to increase the effectiveness of the unit, meet goals, and/or better serve the needs of the community.
Provide direct service and support to individuals or clients, such as handling referrals, conducting a needs evaluation, or resolving complaints.
Direct activities of professional and technical staff members.
Establish and maintain relationships with other agencies and organizations in community to meet community needs and to ensure that services are provided.
Supervises the service staff of the assigned program, evaluates workers' performance, and makes recommendations
Responsible for overall productivity of the unit and for monitoring individual workers' performance to meet productivity standards.
Ensure all services provided to residents are in accordance with agency contracts.
Ensure adherence to program policy and procedures; conduct quality audits of service plans and data material.
Master’s degree (M.A.) or equivalent required. 8+ years related experience in managing people, programs and processes also required. Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) also required.
