We are looking for a dynamic practice operations professional who can provide excellent leadership and hands on operations support to our growing neurosurgery practice located in Greenville, NC.
The Director of Regional Operations has full responsibility of all aspects of the day-to-day operations of our busy neurosurgery practice consisting of 2 psychiatrists, physical therapy, 8 neurosurgeons, 9 advanced level practitioners, and 25 support staff at our main practice and regional clinics provided. In a highly matrix-ed, collaborative setting, this position will work with the Medical Director, Regional Administrator, VP Operations and a number of other clinical and administrative managers to provide operations direction, ensure outstanding customer service, efficient workflows, patient access, improve physician and staff engagement, and administer clinical and administrative processes that promote the delivery of high quality, customer-focused patient care.
The duties include but not limited to:
Responsible for the operational management of the Neurosurgery Practice.
Physician and staff relations in the office that encourages retention and engagement.
Accountable for the orientation, training, supervision, evaluation and professional development of office personnel for all duties.
Implementing the appropriate staffing models and standards throughout the clinic.
Championing engagement and access efforts to include physicians, patients and employees.
Budget planning and financial management to include the appropriate revenue management policies, procedures and systems are in place to allow for billing and collection effectiveness.
Develop, implement, and utilize performance scorecards for service, operations and financial reporting.
Ensuring successful implementation and adoption of systems (EHR) to include improving clinic workflows, scheduling, access, referral management, etc.
Maintains a high level of visibility and practices hands-on operations management and ensures open and transparent communication and partnership between employees and providers.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field. Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Health Care Management, or related field preferred.
Experience: 5 years of medical practice operations experience in a large specialty setting strongly preferred. Candidates with a clinical background and medical practice operations experience are encouraged to apply.
