Which is why your performance and innovation will find a reception here like nowhere else as you help people live healthier lives while doing your life's best work.(sm) Primary Responsibilities: Maintain general ledger accounts and related activities for the production of financial statements and reportsPrepare documentation in support of external and internal auditsPerform ad hoc reporting and analysis and investigate issues providing explanations and interpretationMaintain control of data from upstream source systems to downstream outputs for Individual Stop Loss ProductEnsure critical processing and control issues are resolved in a timely manner for both incoming source system feeds and downstream outputs for Individual Stop Loss Product Ensure accurate payout to ISL customers by identifying and correcting structure issuesProvide Customer Support from a Processing and/or Financial PerspectivePrepare and deliver monthly reports to in a timely manner every monthMaintain customer request workflow in Individual Stop Loss Product mailbox Provide support and direction to any development efforts that impact Individual Stop Loss Product Promote financial data integrity, compliance and auditability of the financial systems
Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent. Without a Bachelor's degree, a minimum of eight years of accounting or finance experienceUp to two years of accounting or finance experience or relevant internshipsSolid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and financial statementsCommunicates in an effective mannerCollaborates with peers to complete projects Demonstrates the drive and motivation to deliver high quality results based on thorough analysisPossesses sound business knowledge and strong decision making skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in MS Excel with ability to learn additional data access skills/languagesAnalytical skills and ability to understand and support system processesAbility to understand systems flows and interdependenciesCareers with UnitedHealthcare.
