Primary Responsibilities:Make outbound calls from an automated dialing system to members who have been diagnosed with diabetesPerform assessments via phoneDetermine the level of care that the members need moving forwardDocument all of your work in the systemYou will make 50 outbound calls a day on averageOther duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:High School Diploma / GED2+ years of customer service experienceExperience with Microsoft Word (ability to create, edit, save, and send documents)Experience with Microsoft Excel (ability to perform data entry, create, and edit spreadsheets)Bilingual in English and SpanishMust be available to work Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PMPreferred Qualifications:Call center experienceExperience working in a metrics driven environment where you have quotas / goals to achieveSoft Skills:Critical thinking skillsAbility to communicate technical information to non-technical personnelAbility to work independently as well as within a team environmentThisposition requires ACHA Level II Background checks (fingerprinting) by the Stateof Florida for all Clinicians that have face-to-face contact with members andwill require renewal every five years.Careers with Optum.
