The Department of Health Policy and Management (HPM) at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health is committed to training and inspiring the next generation of health care leaders. The Research Assistant will report directly to the Assistant Director of Program Administration.
The succesful candidate will work closely with multiple faculty members and other research team members on a wide range of project-related tasks, including: - Maintenance of appropriate IRB and data use agreement certifications - Organization of project materials - Assistance with grant-writing and document drafting - Literature reviews - Interaction with remote consultants or team members - Assistance with development of research proposals, coordination of project communications, and development of scientific reports and presentations. - Additional tasks will be assigned as necessary.
PLEASE NOTE: This position has a term appointment of October 1, 2018, with the possibility of extension.

- 1+ years of related working experience; a combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Bachelors degree in health or social science preferred. - Proficiency with EndNote preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. - Knowledge of various research methods and statistical techniques. - Demonstrated knowledge of global health research. - Detail-oriented, team-oriented, candidates preferred. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and outstanding organizational skills required. Strong interest in global healthcare quality and policy research.
