The University of Cincinnati is seeking a talented and highly motivated SAP ABAP developer to be part of the Business Core Systems team. UC's SAP R3 landscape includes a loadbalanced single-instance production environment that supports a wide assortment of HCM and FI modules, PI communication channels, BW on HANA, a PBF landscape, and several third-party cloud providers that integrate into our on-premise solution. The candidate will join a team of experienced developers who work closely with the functional/business teams and execute projects that further leverage SAP functionality to provide process efficiencies. The selected candidate will be responsible for design, development and documentation of technical solutions.
The ideal candidate will have the following skillset:
Hands-on experience in developing classical SAP applications using ALV Reports, SmartForms, SAPScripts, BDCs, dialog modules, object-oriented programming
Solid understanding of integration concepts between SAP and non-SAP systems
Hands-on experience in designing and developing interfaces using ALE / IDoc, RFC, BAPI, Flat File technologies
Solid understanding of SAP custom enhancement options. Hands-on experience in customizing standard SAP transactions using user-exits, BADIs, BTE, enhancement framework
Ability to develop and trouble-shoot custom workflows
Experience in development of web services, WebDynpro applications, FloorPlan Manager or HCM Processes & Forms in support of our extensive Employee-Self Service and Manager Self-Service offerings
Excellent communication, inter-personal, and organizational skills
HCM-specific knowledge about PA and OM infotypes, logical databases, and macros
Knowledge of Fiori, UI5, SAP Screen Personas concepts. Experience of creating OData services
Experience with SAP HANA or SAP S/4 HANA systems is a plus
Bachelor's degree (in progress) in Programming/Systems or Computer Science or other related field and 3 years relevant technical or business work experience– OR – Associate's degree (in progress) in Programming/Systems or Computer Science Information Systems or related field with 9 years of relevant technical or business related experience –OR – H/S diploma and 15 years relevant technical or business related work experience.
