The Office of Research Human Research Protection Program (HRPP) is looking to fill a Human Protection Administrator position. This position requires someone who has experience with human subjects' research and knowledge of the regulations and guidelines. This person will also be an effective and supportive team member and is proficient in MS Office (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook).
Job Duties: Review research protocols (new studies, amendments, continuing reviews, reportable events, etc.) for completeness and conformance with regulations and standard operating procedures. Provide instruction and advice to faculty, staff and student researchers on regulations and preparation of applications. Populate data into meeting agenda and minutes for IRB meetings.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with three (3) years' experience; -OR- Associate's degree with five (5) years' experience; -OR- seven (7) years' experience. Experience must be in a compliance, basic science or clinical research environment. Experience may also include one (1) year supervision.
Ideal Qualifications: Experience with human subject's research and Institutional Review Boards; Knowledge of regulations and guidelines pertaining to human research, ICH GCP and HIPAA; Ability to independently prioritize, organize and efficiently deal with multiple ongoing activities.
