This position is primarily responsible for providing psychosocial needs and services to residents in the Independent Living community. Additional duties acute interventions and case work services, as well as educational and preventative outreach activities for all WLR community members.
Graduate Degree in Social Work from an accredited university, with at least five (5) years of Social Work experience, and one (1) to three (3) years of long term care services experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be licensed to practice, or working toward licensure and eligible for membership, in the National Association of Social Workers. Must be proficient in the operation of computer applications and general office equipment. Incumbent should be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form, possess high-quality verbal and written communication ability, strong interpersonal skills, and knowledgeable of long term care practices.
