The Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging at Yale School of Medicine is inviting applications for a board eligible/certified Interventional Radiologist with fellowship training for a full-time faculty appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. A strong interest and track record in research, education or clinical pursuits is required. The section performs the entire spectrum of IR procedures with strong vascular, oncologic, transplant, trauma and pediatric IR services.
The Interventional Radiology section is composed of 13 interventional faculty, 7 advanced practice providers, 5 IR fellows and 3 IR residents per year with access to a wide range of imaging modalities. The practice includes a large tertiary multi-disciplinary hospital, a VA hospital, 2 out-patient IR facilities and IR clinics. Applicants should be enthusiastic about joining a mutually supportive group of interventional radiologists who excel at practicing state-of-the art interventional radiology within an academic environment.

The highly-qualified candidate will be expected to lead our continued efforts of building interventional practices. The candidate is expected to have multi-modality image guidance expertise. The successful candidate should have track records and/or high potential/commitment of building interventional radiology practice. We have a clinically-based IR practice with clinics and hospital admitting services. Faculty rank will be commensurate with experience.
