Job Relationships: The registered nurse supervises LPN's, NA's, Unit Secretaries and student nurses; works cooperatively with all nursing personnel and ancillary staff. Qualifications:Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and licensure in the state of Kansas, or application for licensure with a work permit. Essential Functions: Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 50 pounds. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Requires working under stressful conditions or working irregular hours. Requires some exposure to communicable diseases or body fluids. Requires performing CPR.
