Our Research team is responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing the factor models, stock selection models, and portfolio construction techniques that we use to invest our clients' assets.
The Junior Research Analyst will be a key member of AXA Rosenberg's global research team. The position requires strong quantitative and communication skills as well as knowledge of fundamental investing and equity markets. They will be responsible for designing and validating unique factors as well as using the latest techniques in machine learning and natural language processing to enhance our investment strategies. The research team emphasizes innovation, collaboration, and teamwork, and we are looking for candidates who are eager to develop and grow with our business.
- Contribute to alpha and factor modelling, variable construction, and portfolio construction research projects
- Support the strategy teams to monitor model performance, analyze model effectiveness, develop analytics, and consider potential enhancements as it relates to client portfolios and assigned strategies
- Stay connected with industry research and trends and share relevant material with the research and portfolio management teams
Education/Qualifications - Advanced degree in econometrics, mathematics, finance, economics, accounting, or similar degree - CFA is a plus
Experience - Working on research projects - Constructing and working with large data sets - Working with Matlab\SAS or similar analytical packages - Programming in an object oriented language is a plus
