MSK is seeking a Strategic Initiatives Manager to join our amazing Strategy team. The role of the Strategic Initiatives Manager is to serve as an analytic-, thought- and project-leader in the assessment, development, and management of MSK's strategy.
Analyze complex business problems in the context of MSK's strategic objectives. Identify and interpret trends and patterns to locate influences. Construct quantitative models, statistical forecasts, recommendations, and strategic/tactical plans.
Scan the competitive and industry landscape for developments related to MSK's ability to achieve its strategic goals. Synthesize developments into focused understanding, insights and guidance for future strategic moves.
Deliver analytic reports, white papers, and presentations on MSK's internal dynamics, competitive and industry dynamics, and the interplay between these elements.
Establish trusting and collaborative relationships with a wide variety of peers, internal stakeholders, MSK executives, and key individuals within external partners (and potential partners)
Someone who exhibits a keen sense of curiosity about the world and a mindset of experimentation.
A good decision-maker, with proven success at making timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward
Able to work effectively in an environment notable for complex, sometimes contradictory information
Adept at planning and prioritizing work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals

Bachelor's degree; Master's degree a plus
2-4 years experience in an analytic, research, and/or strategic position, preferably within healthcare
