Job Summary/Purpose: The Assistant Director for Transplant Quality reports directly to the Director of Transplant Quality. The Assistant Director is responsible for the planning and supervision of daily operations of the MUSC Transplant Programs (Kidney, Pancreas, Heart, Lung, Liver, Living Donor), including quality and compliance requirement are being met for all federal, state, and regulatory agencies. This position will also provide transplant pharmacy services.
Minimum Training and Education: Doctorate degree in Pharmacy from an accredited college/university and a minimum of three years of experience working in an academic medical center setting with solid organ transplant required or equivalent post-graduate training. Demonstrated proficiency in data extraction and analysis with statistical analysis skills utilizing applications such as Excel and/or SPSS required. Technical skill in database software such as Access and reporting languages such as SQL desired. Certification in QI training such as Six Sigma, Lean, or equivalent preferred.
Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations: Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist by the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy is required.
