The Archer School for Girls is seeking a skilled and experienced 9th grade History teacher for a long-term maternity substitute position beginning on January 16th and lasting through early June 2018.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, teaching 4 classes, serving as an advisor, and participating in co-curricular school activities. A desire to collaborate with colleagues and a commitment to encouraging the potential in every student is essential. Proficiency with technology is a must.

The 9th grade History course, Understanding the Contemporary World, examines contemporary problems through political, social, economic and geographic analysis. The curriculum is student-centered and real-world focused with rich interdisciplinary connections.
